2019, by all relevant standards, was a great year for music. So much so that a lot of it got left on the table, either not listened to enough or in some cases not at all. But that's how it goes for a music lover in the age of streaming; so much music, so little time. And, hell, I'm not even counting the vinyl I spun.Fortunately for me—and ultimately you—I've never suffered from FOMO; neither in life or my passion for new music. What I get to experience will always be a drop in the bucket compared to what I won't. And that's OK. It just makes the former that much sweeter.As that translates to this list, let's just say these tunes have been well appreciated and are more than worthy of being experienced by new ears.In the parlance of our time—and if I do say so myself—everything on this list is straight fire. That said, some of these LPs were growers. Meaning; if at first something doesn't click with you, give it some time, a few extra spins and see where it lands.
